James Gillespie’s High School is the catchment school most of our pupils attend. There are many transition opportunities for our Primary 7 pupils as they prepare for high school. The Cluster Citizenship Event and the Christmas Concert at the Usher Hall provide pupils with the opportunity to work with high school students and other cluster school pupils. The Sports event at Meadowbank Stadium in June encourages our Primary 7 pupils to meet new friends and meet some of the pupils from other cluster schools. All Primary 7 pupils attend three high school transition days at the end of June, this is an opportunity to meet the high school staff and get to know some of the pupils from other cluster school who will be in their classes.
