Curriculum for Excellence
The Curriculum for Excellence aims to help every learner develop knowledge, skills and attributes for learning, life and work, which are encapsulated in the four capacities.
The experiences and outcomes are a set of statements which describe the expectations for learning and progression for each curriculum area. Learning experiences support learners in achieving active engagement, motivation and depth of learning. An outcome represents what is to be achieved.
The experiences and outcomes for each curriculum area support individual pupils in their journey to become successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens.
