A reminder that our school Book Drive will be on Friday the 10th of February. Children will come down in classes to choose one book to take home. If there are any books left, we would love to welcome families into the Gym Hall at home time to choose a book to enjoy at home. Our goal is to provide every pupil with at least one free book! We have had a wonderful response to our request for book donations and have many interesting books to read, share and enjoy.

All of our P6 children have been raft building and kayaking on the Union Canal. This is a great opportunity to work as a team and learn new skills. Thank you to Petra and Christian from Edinburgh College for all their support and encouragement.

A big thank you to Gina Steel for organising a whole school Maths and Numeracy Assembly as part of Maths Week Scotland. We had tortilla chip towers, tessellation challenges and a whole school triangle dance. Everyone had a brilliant time learning about the beauty of maths and finding out about shapes, patterns and angles.
