Good morning, I hope you are having a great week and enjoying your learning. This week we are continuing to learn strategies to increase our motivation. Thank you to Miss Steel and Miss McGhee for their help with the early and first level tasks. Below are your tasks for this week for families to try.
Have a great day.

Good morning everyone, I hope you are having a great start to June. Below are the activities for this week’s Building Resilience. Have a go at your level challenge and the whole school challenge.
Thanks to Miss Steel and Miss Richardson for their help.
Send us your work, we really enjoy seeing your creations.
Have a great day
Miss Anderson 🙂

Good Morning, hope everyone had a lovely weekend and managed to spent some time outside in the Scottish sunshine. As we move into Phase One of easing the lockdown restrictions some of you may have arranged to see family and friends (from 2m and outside). I hope you enjoyed spending some time with your loved ones if you were able to do so.
I will be sending an update to all our families this morning with some information about reopening our school in August.
Hope everyone is well and managing to stay motivated and connected. Have a look at the Action for Happiness Calendar for the month of June, lots of good ideas for supporting emotional wellbeing.

Good morning everyone time for this weeks building resilience tasks. There is an early level. First level, Second level and a whole school task. You can do as many of the tasks as you like!
This week we are looking at our brain in a bit more detail, how it works and how we can shape our brains. We are going to begin with a story, My Fantastic Elastic Brain. 🧠 After you have listened to the story you can read the instructions carefully and complete your activities. A big thank you to Ms Richardson and Ms Steel for creating the early and first level tasks.
Enjoy, and don’t forget to share your work🙂
Miss Anderson 🌈

Eid Mubarak to everyone marking the end of Ramadan. Best wishes to our school community, families and friends.

One week to go until the closing date for entries in this year’s Tollcross has got Talent! I hope you’ve been practising hard and now ready to record your performance. Remember your videos should be no longer than 1 minute. If you are great with technology, you can also join up with a friend too!
To send in your performance, you can upload your video to youtube or vimeo and email the link to admin@tollcross.edin.sch.uk or post your video on twitter and remember to write @MrsE_Music
If you have problems sending in your video, please get in touch. It is also really important that you have permission from your parents to send in your video.
Looking forward to seeing all of your lovely performances!

Below are the tasks for this weeks Building Resilience, Challenge Your Mindset 💪🧠.
We also have a story that was filmed by Miles in P1, he even tried to bring the story to life with some cool camera angles and techniques 🎬. He chose the soundtrack too, which I think makes the story exciting, well done 👍
Thank you to Ms McGhee and Ms Steel for designing the early level and first level tasks. We are really excited to see all of your work.
Have a great day
Miss Anderson 😀🌈🤩
