All the eggs have hatched and we now have ten little chicks …

Pupils of the Week

So exciting…
We have been watching the eggs in the incubator and we saw three chicks hatch this afternoon. They are now in a soft bed of sawdust with some food and water. We hope that more chicks will hatch tomorrow 🐣

☕️Tea and Talk☕️
We would like to invite our parents and carers for a cup of tea and a chat in the school lunch hall on Wednesday afternoons from 2.45 to 3.20.
We hope this will be an opportunity for parents and carers to meet, chat and get to know each other. Mrs Robertson and Ms Brand will be there and we hope you will join us. Tea and chat will run every Wednesday afternoon from Wednesday 16th May until Wednesday 20th June.
Hope to see you there.
Ms Brand ☕️
Life Cycles 🐣
P1, P1/2 and P2 are studying life cycles. Today we had a special delivery of an incubator and eggs. We will be able to watch the chicks hatch and grow. This is an exciting opportunity for everyone to observe life cycles in action. Can’t wait to see the chicks 🐣

Please remember to join us for a family learning event to celebrate National Numeracy Day on 16/5/18 from 9.00 to 9.30. Come long and try some of the number puzzles created by our learners. Younger siblings, grannies and grandads are welcome too.

Early Bird Club 🐣
Great to see so many of our pupils at Early Bird club this morning. What a great way to start the day, chatting, playing and having breakfast with your friends. A big thank you to Mrs Frew and Jane for making everyone feel welcome. See you all tomorrow 😀

A Big Thank you !
Thank you to everyone who helped to clear, prune and tidy up at Tollcross Primary today. You know you have had a good clear out when the skip looks like this …
A big thank you from everyone at Tollcross Primary.
