Lynn McLaren, one of our lovely Tollcross Primary class teachers sadly died on Wednesday. Lynn was a much loved teacher, colleague and friend. Many people in our school community will be upset by this sad news.

Our thoughts are with Lynn’s husband Fraser and her two sons Ross and Jack.

We will have a condolences book available at the school entrance from Monday 5 June. Families, children and former pupils are welcome to leave a message for Lynn’s family, share a memory or for little people, share a drawing.

Lynn was a wonderful teacher and a great friend to everyone at Tollcross Primary School, she will be sadly missed and remembered for her kindness, laughter and warmth.

Our basketball team met Shawnisay Millar and her sister Roma at The Crags this afternoon. Shawnisay is a top Scottish basketball player who just returned home from the USA. Thank you to Mrs Clapton for coaching our P7 girls´ basketball team and encouraging a love of sport. ❤️
