A big thank you to all the Tollcross Choir performers who participated in the Edinburgh Light Night event in George Street today. You were magnificent 🙂 Thanks to Mrs Ewen for all her hard work and to all the lovely Tollcross staff and parents who came along to support this event.
On Monday some of our pupils helped to open the new Co-operative Food store on Earl Grey Street. They were fantastic representatives of Tollcross. We are looking forward to working with the Co-operative in our Partnership.
Thank you to everyone who came along to our coffee morning on Friday, you helped us raise £519.60 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We were delighted when one of our P6 pupils won a Gold at the Primary Maths Challenge organised by Edinburgh University. Well done we are so proud of you !
Our Tollcross PE Project has been short listed for the Scottish Education Awards. Our category is Creativity and we are delighted to be selected as finalists. Three judges will be visiting our school on Wednesday 30/4/14 to find out more about our project and gather information from staff and pupils. We plan to take the judges out to the canal to see the project in action. This is a great achievement for Tollcross. Great effort from everyone who took part in the Cross Country Event in the Meadows this morning. Congratulations to Abby in P6 who came 3rd and Michal S. in P7 who came 2nd. Very inspiring to see everyone running so well. Fantastic effort from all the P6 and P7 competitors !
Congratulations to all of our pupils who were presented with their John Muir Discovery Award at our school assembly today. Well done to everyone for all their hard work and dedication.
