On Friday 14th March everybody is invited to come to school dressed as a favourite character from a book. Parents and teachers can dress up too. Parents and carers are invited to come to watch the costume parade in the playground at about 9.15am. There will be coffee, tea and cakes available in the dining room immediately after.

War Horse

Primary 7 and some Primary 6s attended a performance of War Horse at the Festival Theatre this afternoon.

We were all moved by the powerful story of a boy and his horse set against the backdrop of the First World War.

As always our children were perfectly behaved and a credit to Tollcross. Image

French Visitors

This week we have had three teachers from France visiting us to learn more about Active Learning. It has been very interesting for staff to chat together about the two different Education systems and what we can learn from each other. Our visitors enjoyed their visit  and commented on the good behaviour of our children. Once they return to France they are going to help us organise pen pals for our senior pupils who are learning French.Image
