There will be a Parent Council Meeting on Thursday 28th November at 6.15pm in Mrs Brown’s Room. All parents are welcome.

Our outdoor PE project has been nominated for a Children and Families Achievement Award. Pupils and staff will attend the event at the Assembly Rooms in George Street tomorrow. Fingers crossed…we will let you know if we win anything and post it on our blog. Good luck Tollcross !

We still need donations for our Christmas Fair on Saturday. We need books, toys and gifts to sell on our stalls.

Please come along on Saturday 30th November from 10 am to 12 noon and join in the fun. All money raised will pay for trips and outings for pupils throughout the school year.

Primary 7 have made lovely menus for cafés and restaurants after learning the vocabulary for French foods.

We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our School Open Day tomorrow. We have just had our classrooms painted and our P6 and P7 Tour Guides are keen to show you round the school.

Our pupils have created a self-portrait tea towel to raise money for our school. Pupils have drawn their own portrait and added it to a collage of all the pupils at Tollcross Primary. Please help by buying some tea towels, they make great Christmas presents. Orders will be taken at the Halloween Party and an order form has gone out in school bags today. There are some places left in the drama groups that start after the October break at Tollcross.  Drama is a great way of boosting confidence, encouraging team work and sparking creativitiy.

Tollcross Primary Halloween Party 2013

Friday 25th October

6.30-8.00pm

Come along and join in the Fun ! Tickets for the Halloween Party can be purchased from the School Office from 22/10/13 or on the night, tickets cost £2.50. All children must be accompanied by an adult (adults will also require a ticket). Prizes will be awarded for the best costume !
