Please remember that all pupils finish for the summer holidays at the end of the school day tomorrow (Wednesday 26th June 2013). This has been agreed by the Scottish Government. We wish all our families a very happy and relaxing summer holiday.

Everyone had a great time today at our Farewell Fun Day. There were many different activities to choose from and a great big playground picnic.

Scott Louden from Scott Louden Photography has given permission for us to use some of the photographs he took of our ministerial visit for the Evening News. Big thank you to Scott for these brilliant photographs which show our pupils in action.

Hello P7s, hope you are having a wonderful time at High School, we are missing you and looking forward to seeing you all on Friday. Just a quick reminder,  it is the P7 Barbecue at Beecraigs Country Park on Friday morning (21/6/13). Please make sure you wear clothes suitable for playing in the adventure park and  cross your fingers for sunny weather. See you on Friday !

Click here for more information about Beecraigs Country Park.

There will be a tuck shop on the night selling goodies and we’ll be sharing any profits made equally between the Tollcross and Taobh na Pairce fundraising committees so please bring your pennies with you.

We really need adult volunteers to help run the discos to ensure that everyone has a great time and stays safe.  If you are able to help please send your details to tollcrossparentcouncil@gmail.co.uk or leave your details (name, telephone number and/or email address) with the school office and we’ll be in touch. You can volunteer to help with both sessions or only one depending on your availability.

Nursery children and younger siblings are very welcome to come along to the Junior Disco although a parent or guardian must stay in the school building.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all there!

Tollcross Parent Council

Congratulations to all the children in the winning team.

P5 and P6 spent a wonderful morning at the Festival Theatre hearing about their forthcoming production of War Horse and meeting the star of the show, Joey the horse.
