We are looking forward to welcoming our lovely P7s back from school camp tomorrow. We have missed you and can’t wait to hear all your news and stories.

Every day more than 140,000 drinks containers are littered in Scotland unnecessarily. Pupils at Tollcross Primary are supporting the campaign to introduce a deposit return system for Scotland to encourage more recycling. Find out more at haveyougotthebottle.org.uk

A big thank you to Ms McAllister and our Eco Committee for organising our school assembly this morning. Catherine from Marine Conservation and Jenny from Have you got the Bottle helped us to become more aware of the environmental impact of plastic. We were interested in finding out about turtles 🐢 and the campaign to support the introduction of a bottle return scheme in Scotland to encourage recycling ♻️

So glad you are all having so much fun. We miss you x

Details of a free course running at Tollcross Community Centre to support children and families. Details and application forms were emailed out to parents and carers today. Please pop into the school office if you need any further information or support.

Our P7s have arrived safely at Benmore and are enjoying their first day!

Today was a special Pupil of the Week celebration, we had cake to wish a lovely pupil in P1 and Ms Brand a very Happy Birthday 🎂

Congratulations to this group of lovely P7 pupils. They were each awarded silver in the Edinburgh Maths Challenge and will be invited to a formal award ceremony in June.

We are so proud of you. 🏆
