Thank you to everyone who has shared, Tweeted and connected with us over the last two weeks. We are all adjusting to new and different ways of working, learning and living.
A big thank you to our wonderful Tollcross staff for providing online learning and support for our families and to all of our families who have engaged with the online learning activities at home
We will welcome everyone back to online learning on Tuesday 21/4/20.
Stay safe and look after each other.

Good morning everyone ,
This is the last in our Building resilience unit 3 Respect yourself. After Easter we will have our reflection and sharing and then we will kick off unit 4.
Below are the activities: a whole school activity, early level activity, first level activity, second level activity. Feel free to give more than one a go. They are perfect activities to keep you occupied over the last days before the Easter break or during the Easter break, or when you come back after Easter. We are going to start with a dance.
The intended learning is:
I know the things that make me feel happy and calm and I know that exercise is important to keep me healthy.
key message is: I treat myself with respect.
I hope you enjoy the tasks and share your learning on twitter @TollcrossP. or email admin@tollcross.edin.sch.uk
Miss Anderson 🙂

Good Morning Tollcross families. It has been lovely to see all of the learning being shared on our blog and on Twitter. I have really enjoyed sharing your day.

Big Share Reading Challenge If you are enjoying a book then please share it with us on Twitter @TollcrossP and we will like, share and post your favourite books. This will help us to share recommendations and discover new books to read. Some of our staff will post what they are reading too so everyone will get some new reading recommendations. I am looking forward to discovering some new books to read and share 📚 Take care and keep safe 🖐🏻🧼

Thank you to everyone for sharing your learning with us, commenting, emailing, liking, Tweeting and blogging. We have really enjoyed sharing your day.
A big thank you to our teaching staff for their dedication to providing exciting opportunities and activities for online learning for all our children and their families.
Many of our staff have volunteered to support our learners who will be attending the Hub School at Tynecastle High school. We are working as a team to support the children whose parents and carers are key workers. If a member of staff is on the volunteering rota another teacher will post the learning on their class blog. We will continue to support all of our children learning at home.
Thank you to everyone for all their kind messages and comments this week. We are in different locations at the moment but we are still Tollcross Primary School.
Stay Safe and look after each other.

This information was sent out to all of our families this morning.

Good morning Tollcross Families. The City of Edinburgh Council is in the process of confirming spaces for the children of key workers to provide learning and childcare. This service is for the children of families where both parents are critical key workers or a single parent who is a key worker. In a two parent family it is expected that the parent able to work from home will provide childcare. If both parents are key workers or a single parent is a key worker then the Hub Schools will welcome your children and provide learning and childcare for your family.
We fully support the service and care our key workers are providing for our communities at this time.
If you have any questions, enquiries or require support please get in touch with us at admin@tollcross.edin.sch.uk
