Tollcross Primary School

Parents and Carers  – please be aware that due to the snow, there will be some changes to lunch menus next week. However, pupils will still receive a hot meal. Please see message below from the City of Edinburgh Council.

Tollcross Primary  and other City of Edinburgh schools anticipate opening as normal on Monday 5th March. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school and hearing about your snow adventures. Please keep an eye on social media and our school website for further updates.

Tollcross Primary will remain closed tomorrow, parent/teacher meetings are cancelled but will go ahead next Friday 9/3/18 and times will remain the same.

We have been officially advised by our Head of Schools that Edinburgh Schools will be closed again tomorrow. Please stay home to keep safe and warm.

The Parent/Teacher Meetings have been cancelled tonight due to the severe weather warnings. We will have the meetings next Wednesday 7/3/18, the appointment times will remain the same. The Parent/Teacher meetings for Friday 2/3/18 will go ahead as planned and we look forward to seeing you.

Fantastic running from P6 and P7 yesterday at the Meadows Cross Country event.

Wow, Ms Chadwick challenged our brains this morning. Every class was given a Big Brain Stretch Challenge at our School Assembly. It was really tricky but we worked out the answers together. Good luck with creating your own Brain Stretch Challenges at home, everyone will be given a Brain Stretch Challenge sheet tomorrow to take home. I am really looking forward to testing my brain and will be creating my own Brain Stretch Challenges for each class.
