Tollcross really does have the X Factor 🤗

Thanks to everyone who took part in today´s amazing X factor show!

Big thanks to Mrs Ewen for organising it all so well. 🤩

We have started out new Tollcross Counts topic, Number after and number before.

We will be looking at the place of numbers and focusing on crossing the tens especially eg number after 9, number before 0.1 etc.

Generally we need to practice number before more than number after.

Thank you to Ms Anderson for providing us with a brilliant assembly this morning for the whole school and Nurseries.

It was a great way to start our new topic ‘ Keep Connected’.

We will be learning about how to support others and rely on our ‘back up team’ over the next few weeks.

Bilingualism Matters are currently doing some research on both monolingual and bilingual children in P1-3 (Spanish and Polish), with a focus on reading.
