Our pupils have created a self-portrait tea towel to raise money for our school. Pupils have drawn their own portrait and added it to a collage of all the pupils at Tollcross Primary. Please help by buying some tea towels, they make great Christmas presents. Orders will be taken at the Halloween Party and an order form has gone out in school bags today. Tollcross Halloween Party this Friday !
Remember to come along and join in the Fun ! Tickets for the Halloween Party can be purchased from the School Office or on the night, tickets cost £2.50. All children must be accompanied by an adult (adults will also require a ticket). This will be a great party and an opportunity to meet your friends and have fun. The Halloween Party is this Friday, 25th October and starts at 6.30 until 8.00pm. Remember to look your most scary as prizes will be awarded for the best costume !
Strange Town Drama at Tollcross
There are some places left in the drama groups that start after the October break at Tollcross. Drama is a great way of boosting confidence, encouraging team work and sparking creativitiy.

Macmillan Coffee Morning at Tollcross Primary
Thank you to everyone who came along to our Macmillan Coffee Morning, your support helped us to raise £303.19 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Special thanks to all of our Primary 6 helpers who organised the event and the lovely cakes donated by pupils, staff and parents.
P6 go Climbing at Ratho
P6 had a great day climbing at the Ratho Climbing Arena as part of their Junior Award Scheme Scotland (JASS). Pupils had the opportunity to go climbing, bouldering and abseiling. Everyone participated well and supported each other, well done !

Welcome to Jonathan and Graeme
A big Tollcross welcome to our two new Active Schools co-ordinators, Jonathan and Graeme. They will be sending out a questionnaire to all of our families and asking pupils about the types of physical activities they would like to take part in. They have lots of great ideas for getting our pupils more active and we are looking forward to working with them. Please keep an eye out for the questionnaires appearing in school bags !
