Ms Richardson and I have really been missing the ‘Coorie-In’ and so we are going to share a story with you each week read by someone from Tollcross.

Well done to our fantastic pupils of the week!

We had lots of fun this afternoon at the P1-3 dance club with Ms Robertson! 😊

We are very excited that it is almost book week at Tollcross and we have lots of events planned to celebrate reading. On Thursday 5th of March everyone is invited to dress up as their favourite book character. We will be parading around the playground at 9.15am and you are welcome to join us for this.

On Tuesday 3rd of March there will be a family costume making session after school at 3.30pm in the P7 classroom where you can use art resources to create a costume to wear on the Thursday.

Lovely to see everyone who came along to the first of our ‘coorie-in’ sessions yesterday. The ‘coorie-in’ will run every Tuesday from 3.30-4pm in the library. We would love to see you there!

Ms Richardson and Mrs Dripps will be running the ´Tollcross Coorie-In’ starting on Tuesday the 18th of February. It will be a family session with storytelling, songs and craft for P1-3 (siblings welcome too) in the library from 3.30-4pm. We would love to see you there!

We are currently developing our outdoor play provision for our infant classes and are looking for donations of items you no longer use. We would be very grateful for any second-hand waterproof coats/ trousers or any wellies that are now too small! We are also looking for old metal pots, pans, jugs and kitchen utensils etc. for our mud kitchen.

The P1 bake sale will be a  minibeast themed summer ‘garden party’ on Monday the 24^th of June 1.30pm-3pm in the infant playground. Entry will be by donation and there will be juice and something to eat for everyone as well as plenty of activities to enjoy.

We would love to see you there!

The library will be open to families after school every Wednesday 3.30-4pm with the exception of Wednesday the 15th of May. We would love to see you there!
