There will be a welcome meeting for all new P1 families on Tuesday the 17th June at 9.15am where we will share more information with you about starting school.

Brilliant team work at the swimming gala this morning. The team worked so well together to win silver medals in the breaststroke relay, bronze medals in the backstroke relay and silver medals in the freestyle relay. Well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to Mrs Storr for organising the team ❤️

We are on our way home from a fantastic week at Benmore!
As we drove out past all the places we explored this week, it was so lovely to hear all the happy memories being shared of all the adventures we’d had. P7 were such brilliant ambassadors for our school and we are all so proud of you. Last night we chose to relax with a movie, play games or go dance at the disco! A great end to our time here. We are looking forward to telling you all about it!

Our time at Benmore has been absolutely jam packed. Today we had more climbing and abseiling, some of us tackled the ‘high ropes’ aerial assault course, others walked the Camels Hump at Dunoon or explored Shepherds beach at Argentinny. This afternoon some of us had a very peaceful canoeing session at Loch Eck and others walked up the gorge and some even took a mud bath!

Our adventures continue at Benmore! Because we are having such brilliant weather, last night the staff at Benmore got their telescope out for us to look at the night sky more closely. They also had iPads set up with the map of the constellations so we could see what stars, planets and satellites we could see.
Today some of us rowed canoes out on Loch Eck, others went caving, enjoyed walks in the forest building dens and playing in the mud. This afternoon, some of us learned how to build a fire and toasted marshmallows and others explored at the shore. We can’t wait to tell you all about it!
