P7 Young Leaders in Learning

Our Young leaders in Learning (YLL) had their first visit to another school this week.

Five P7 pupils went to Preston Street Primary to find out about how they learn Maths.

They took part in a maths lesson and also visited literacy and social studies lessons in P6 and P7 classes.

The P7s identified some similarities and differences between the schools. They gained some great ideas for new ways to learn Maths at Tollcross which we will be trying out.

We also saw their very fancy water fountain and would like one of them! 💧

Looking forward to when the YLLs from Preston Street Primary visit Tollcross on 26th of March to find out about how we teach and learn maths. 🤩

Thank you to our YLL for representing the school excellently and making us proud.
