Our adventures continue at Benmore! Because we are having such brilliant weather, last night the staff at Benmore got their telescope out for us to look at the night sky more closely. They also had iPads set up with the map of the constellations so we could see what stars, planets and satellites we could see.
Today some of us rowed canoes out on Loch Eck, others went caving, enjoyed walks in the forest building dens and playing in the mud. This afternoon, some of us learned how to build a fire and toasted marshmallows and others explored at the shore. We can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Today was a beautiful sunny day at Benmore ☀️ It was our first day of activities and our groups enjoyed: rock climbing and abseiling, caving, gorge walking and orienteering. P7 really challenged and supported each other to try new and daunting experiences and showed tremendous courage. You should all be very proud of yourselves!

We’ve had a brilliant journey to and first afternoon at Benmore. Our coach driver said P7 were a credit to Tollcross. We have settled in to our dorms and enjoyed our first Benmore dinner. This afternoon we explored Benmore Botanic Gardens and many of us chose to explore the river and clamber through the tunnels. Tonight we are getting ready for a night walk in the dark!

Delighted to have graduated with a masters in Educational Leadership from Edinburgh University. It was lovely to see some friends from Tollcross Primary who came along after school to join the celebrations ❤️
