We took lots of great photographs at Benmore and hope to display them on our website after the Easter holidays. The photographs are a good way of showing how much fun we had at Benmore and the many exciting activities our pupils were involved in.

We are home ! A very big thank you to all the staff and pupils for a fantastic week at Benmore. The Benmore staff commented on the positive attitude of our pupils and their willingness to try new activities and challenges ! Thank you to the Tollcross staff who supported and encouraged pupils on their Benmore adventure, have a great holiday and a well deserved rest ! Photographs from Benmore will be posted on the first day back after the Easter holidays.

Yesterday we entered a team of ten children in the Edinburgh Primary School Swimming Gala at the Royal Commonwealth pool. We all had a wonderful time and it was great to see the newly renovated Commonwealth pool . Our children all swam well and we made it into two finals taking 4th place in one and silver medal position in the other. As always our children were well behaved and supported each other well. Many thanks also to our loyal group of parent supporters. I was proud of them all! Mrs Bailey

We had a very active day today and an early start. Activity groups are working well together and everyone is making new friends. Scavenger Hunt tonight was fun, lots of interesting objects found in and around the building. Everyone is happy and having lots of fun ! Looking forward to another great day at Benmore tomorrow. We are all looking forward to seeing Mrs Brown !
We have all arrived safely at Benmore ! Everyone had a tour of the grounds and met the Benmore staff. We split into activity groups and met the instructors we are going to be working with this week. Night Walk tonight and everyone is wearing plenty of warm clothes. All happy and ready for a fun filled week of adventure at Benmore. Will update the Blog tomorrow – night night !
We had a Bake Sale and activity morning at Tollcross Primary today to raise money for Comic Relief. We raised £395.69 altogether. Many thanks to all who brought in baking or made donations. Lots of fun and red noses !
P6/7 worked with Robertson Construction to make a giant tetrahedron. Pupils worked collaboratively to make the structure which was 4 metres high and 4 metres wide !
P5, P6 and P7 pupils were involved in a Generation Science workshop at Tollcross Primary today. Pupils worked in groups to solve programming challenges using programmable robots. The grand finale was a robot disco
