Designs for our New Bins
Presenting….. our new school bins. Ms Chadwick and the Eco Committee have chosen the winning designs . Our bins have been ordered and should be here soon……. very exciting !

The Grove Community Garden
Pupils from Tollcross Primary attended the launch of the Grove Community Garden today. We have been allocated an allotment box for pupils to grow flowers and vegetables. This looks like an exciting project for our pupils to be involved in and we look forward to working in the community garden.
A Video for all the Paleontologists at Tollcross Primary
This video was taken at the Natural History Museum in London. We have lots of palaeontologists at Tollcross and I am sure they will enjoy watching this robotic T-Rex, he looks very real and very scary ! Don’t watch before bedtime !
P3/4 Assembly Performance
P3/4 gave a wonderful performance this morning at our School Assembly. They treated us to a play based on the book, “The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark” by Jill Tomlinson. Thank you to the pupils for a great performance and to all the parents who came along to watch.
Tollcross Eco Committee Video
The Eco Committee made this video using imovie and presented it at a whole school assembly to introduce the Litter Picking Rota. The Rota has been a great success in helping to keep our playground litter free. Thank you to Ms Chadwick and the Eco Committee for all their hard work. We are keen to be green !

The Eco Committee had a very difficult job today, choosing a winning design to go on our new playground bins. After much debate the winners were decided. Congratulations to Alexandra and Haifa. We look forward to seeing the new bins in the playground soon !
