Here are some websites to explore at home :
We will be sharing our wonderful #mathsweekscot activities with you on class blogs and the main blog!
We had a wonderful singing assembly this morning as part of BBC Music Day. Singing, dancing and having fun, what a wonderful start to our school day. Thank you to Mrs Ewen for organising this whole school event.
We are currently developing our outdoor play provision for our infant classes and are looking for donations of items you no longer use. We would be very grateful for any second-hand waterproof coats/ trousers or any wellies that are now too small! We are also looking for old metal pots, pans, jugs and kitchen utensils etc. for our mud kitchen.
Georgio Adesanya has successfully passed first level Kuk Sool Woon martial arts testing and has gained two yellow tabs on his white belt. Next stage yellow belt. Congratulations Georgio, we are very proud of you.
The pupils had their first Tollcross Counts Assembly yesterday to start our current topic ‘counting forwards and backwards’
Classes will be playing a range of games and joining in activities that practice counting.
Whether this be from 0-20, 10,000-50,000 or 1.21-2.91!
It was lovely to see our pupils excited about numbers and joining in during assembly.
Great to see everyone back at Tollcross Primary today. Thank you to the nursery for all their support in providing outdoor space for our P1 and P2 classes to play. Our P6 classes enjoyed their day at Dalry Primary. Thank you to all our families for your continued support for our school.
Both classes have settled into their new classrooms after an exciting playtime with the resident Dalry bunnies 🐰
Well done P6, great to see you happy and getting to know the school. 😊
Dear Tollcross Families,
You will be aware of the fire incident in Fountainbridge earlier this week which happened immediately adjacent to our school.
Although our school has not been damaged a safety zone has been created reducing our classroom space. Some of our classes have been relocated within the school building making use of our library and music room.
Dalry Primary School have agreed to accommodate our Primary 6 pupils and their class teachers. We are very grateful and appreciate the support from the head teacher and staff.
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday.
