Welcome Back to Tollcross Primary
We are looking forward to welcoming our pupils back to school tomorrow. Hope you have all had a good holiday and are ready for the new term.
Halloween Fun @ Tollcross Primary
HALLOWEEN PARTY 2014
Friday 31st October
6.30pm – 8.00pm
Its almost time for the annual tollcross primary school Halloween Party!
Tickets will be available on the door on the night and All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets £2.50 each (adults also need a ticket and nursery children are free).
Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, best pumpkin lantern including a prize for the best adult costume!
volunteers are needed to help set up from 2pm on the day of the party and on the night, if you can help in any way please send an email to tollcrossparentcouncil@gmail.com or leave your name and contact details with the school office.
We also need donations of sweets for the lucky dip, home baking and donations for our raffle and hampers. please hand in any donations to the school office the week before the party, any baking should be dropped off on the day of the party.
All party proceeds will go towards school activities and improvements.
Our New Local Business Partner!
On Monday some of our pupils helped to open the new Co-operative Food store on Earl Grey Street. They were fantastic representatives of Tollcross. We are looking forward to working with the Co-operative in our Partnership.
Local Boy’s Brigade and Girl’s Association
This local group meets in the Undercroft Cafe in George Street at St Andrew’s and St George’s West Church on Monday at 4pm. All are welcome.
They offer a fun and varied programme of activities for all pupils P2 to P6.
P7 Snack Shack !
Primary 7 have been learning about setting up a small business as part of our enterprise project. They will be running a Snack Shack every Friday selling healthy snacks. Money raised will help towards the cost of our P7 residential week at Benmore Outdoor Centre in March. Every class will have the opportunity to visit the Snack Shack on Friday mornings to buy snacks for break time. Please support our P7 pupils in their business venture. Snacks will include fruit, popcorn and muffins !
